Put it in the microwave and walk away.
Find the USB socket, plug it into your laptop and reprogram with the appropriate software.
Buy a similar one that plays a different tune. Swap the internals.

It's likely a cheap "off the shelf" Chinese module like https://astsoundmodule.manufacturer.globalsources.com/si/6008853393703/pdtl/Sound-module/1165590649/Sound-module-for-musical-bottle-opener.htm using an integrated flash memory chip. I doubt there is a USB interface. Mostly likely you'd need to use a magnifying glass to (hopefully) identify a serial or SPI interface. If you're not familiar with these things it would probably be a long and tedious exercise. Probably not worth it unless you are desperate to annoy FIL 🙂
Get one from a diffrent team, swap the internals.
