I've just got my hands on a rigid steel fork for my charge cooker, I was tempted to sand it and spray myself, but I can't be arsed with the sanding! So might as well get it chemically stripped, and then powdercoated whilst it is there. Lazy I know.

So can I have your recommendations for a good West yorkshire based powdercoating place please? Ideally close to Leeds. Thanks in advance.

Had a couple of mtb frames powdercoated at Triple S in Bingley and they were very good and hard wearing and I just had a road bike frame n forks done at Bob Jacksons in Leeds and it looks fantastic

Barnsley too far?
Used Metal Magic for the camper wheels and Corratec frame - great finish, nice folks and a keen price.

Perfect thanks, I pass bingley quite a lot so is probably most convenient. Now all I have to decide is the colour. Black like the rest of the bike or red like the extra bits (pedals, grips etc)?!

Peatys in Guisley are good too. I've used them and Triple S for frame respray. Peatys had a lot more choice of colour and finish and were cheaper too. Quality was spot on from both outfits though.

Ah thanks Matt, that could well be an option. If only they were open saturdays, I've got a day off soon though so may sort it then. Thanks for all your suggestions!

I used triple s for my wife's road frame. Finish was ok. Best I can say. Chips in the original paint are still visible under the powder which is thin in places. The price was dramatically different on collection from those quoted
Ill be looking elsewhere next time.
Just my thoughts.
