I know little about them. I'm looking to replace https://www.flickr.com/photos/wysiwygphotography/shares/T9toy7
This with one similar. Doesn't have to be same brand must have D shaft. How do these things work/classified
Anyone point me to the right thing?

The A1M version of this should do you I think.

Convert's link looks good - you may need one with a longer shaft for the 'knob'. (measure the shaft on the one next to it)
