How?!?!?!?!?

Having a complete fail here, so if someone can explain how to get a google photo in a thread, I'd be much obliged

Used to be able to get the link from the picasa web interface..

Ulp. Looks like it's been turned off.

Nope, can't see either.

Some info here - https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/photos/55GTdl0ZSGE

Sounds like Google Drive might allow it (or using the presentation tool for slideshows).

Google photo's is otherwise blimmin brilliant, but the inability to direct link, even to a reduced size version does my nut. As above, going via the picasaweb interface used to be the workaround but doesn't work any more.

a few of us have been through this on here before.

Basically it's now f******.

Use img or somesuch and host there instead. A pain in the arris really as otherwise photos works pretty well.

Google have screwed it up and you can't share without a lot of difficulty.

Shove it on Flickr. There's a nice share button on your photo including options for BB code for forums.

This, and the fact that you now can't give anyone a link to a "front page" with all your public albums on, has really made me quite miffed about Google photos. Picasaweb was betterer.

Oh, and for some reason Picasa randomly logs out all the time now. I know they're not supporting it any more, but surely the login shouldn't have changed? Bah.
