I had some joint fusion pins taken out my foot a week ago today. Doc reckoned riding in a week would be fine. Problem is that foot is too swollen to get my boots on.... any idea how long swelling takes to go down ? yes, I am seeing surgeon again on thu for check etc and can ask him then, just wondering and being impatient !!

well if foot still swollen I'd hang fire - don't risk it in other words!!
It'll be worth the wait in the end - you don't want to rush it and end up being pinned again.
