Got a bit of gossip from a manager that 1 in 4 jobs in the E.A. will be going, if that is across all government departments then there will be long queues at the job centres.
Oh well onwards and jobless

There are already public sector organisations that are sheding 20% of staff this financial year, but it's not something that hasn't, isn't happening in the private sector as well.
You have to cut your cloth to fit and if you have reduced all other cost staff budgets are a natural place to look for a private or public entitity.
