There’s an amber warning for the local area tomorrow morning, so I thought I’d have a look on the lightning website to see if anything much is heading my way, but my attention was caught by a massive storm to the north-west of Clairmond-Ferront in France. It is, to say the least, an active cell!

Needs adding to the "Holudaying in England" thread 😎

Planning to get 60 miles in on the road bike, grim out, tailwind home. BBQ later may use the grill in the oven

10 of us down in Brixham, south Devon. How the caravan awning and tent are with us after last night I'll never know. Exciting stuff though.

I love a good thunderstorm, bags of lightening ziggzagging across the sky. Had a number of crackers out camping in the Netherlands. Really amazing lightening.

I got woken up around six this morning by thunder, but when I checked the lightning site it was all to the south and west of Chippenham heading north-west, so some rumbling and that was it, sadly. ☹️
Absolutely pissed down for a while, though, and even that stopped, so I just went back to sleep. Still, saves having to keep watering the garden.
