[Closed] Poss for sale
What's the point in advertising something as 'possibly for sale'.
Even once, let alone 3 days in a row.
Is it supposed to be a seductive technique?
'Pics available on request' is the one that rubs my rhubarb the wrong way.
I possibly have an answer to this question, haven't yet decided whether to post it.
Sorry, but not posting stuff is a different issue.

Yes, yes it it.
I think you may have missed the point....
Heh.
Is there something possibly for sale?
/heads over to classifieds.
It's odd isn't.
"I may sell depending if anyone interested"
Well yes that's how selling stuff works.

Absolutely. I have no idea why it winds me up so much though!
If you've got pictures, and obviously have the time to send them INDIVIDUALLY to EVERY person who asks for them, do you not have the time to stick them on imageshack and copy and paste one link into the ad?
Seems a waste of everyone's time to be honest.

It does upset me how much it upsets me.

It is odd, isn't it, because that's not really how it works.
"I will sell if someone's interested", at the right price being a given.
Why the "may"?
Is it a tease? Are you going to ask for a CRB check? Are you Hora?

And if you've not got pictures, surely you can link to the manufacturers stock shots, or photos of the same, or similar, product being sold by someone else.
Perhaps it's: "possibly for sale, depending whether I consider you worthy of purchasing something previously owned by me"?
probably more make me an offer I can't refuse, I'd really rather not sell but if some mug comes along...
I'm some mug!
I'll even fill out the survey to see if I am eligible for said item.
Does anybody know "Wordnumb"? I paid good money for him to post something and he "can't decide" whether he will or not.
It's not good enough, either you've got something to post or you haven't!
Maybe it's just guys who are really indecisive and used to their wives making such important decisions, but she's out with friends at the time etc so he's confused and incapacitated by the exposure to decision making.
I have a Poss. It isn't for sale.
Possibly for sale, but then again maybe not, once I've got your money, i might not sell it, and if I've hacked your paypal account, i definitely won't need to sell anything.
I thought it was POS for sale.

This is possibly, what I was thinking, but I am not sure now, I will ask this wife, when she gets in,
whilst this guy KNOWS what he wants....

Or I just spent all our savings on a new bike and promised it would be the last but it hasn't magically made me faster/radder/cooler and my mate has something a bit shinier and he reckons it's the future and a man on the internet told me that the colours are last years and if I can wangle it I'll buy something else....
