Only the one field spotted so far, not too far from work

There used to be a field on a hill near us where the poppies year after year would heavily invade the crops. We always enjoyed the sight. I even created a Strava segment honouring them. Then one year there were none at all and it's stayed that way ever since. Can understand why the farmer did it but... its a loss.

Beautiful! I've just planted a load of poppy seeds saved from last year - looking forward to a spectacular display even in my tiny garden.

Well north of me, I haven’t seen any out in the fields yet, but I haven’t been anywhere much away from home to see if any are out around here in north Wiltshire.

Back in the late 80's early 90's you could regularly see tge Poppies drinking in The Swan.
