How come he's wearing a green tie, i thought they always wore the appropriate tie colour to which party they represent..

The tie thing is a bit of a joke.
I imagine they make sure they dont wear a tie that could be construed to make an embarrassing political statement at the time they wear it.
And who wears plain blue or red ties anyway? 🙂
