Having experienced the big "P" for a month it's made me realise just how awful it is with the advertising on. I used to put up with it but now I spend much less time here, so at what point does the advertising become counter productive ?

I noticed the same, might have to go for the Premier-lite sub

Out of interest, can any wine types confirm that sherry is the traditional accompaniment for lard? I'm imagining Fino?

@lemonysam I'd go with a Tio Pepe to be specific. I wonder whether the bow tie is optional.

Doesn't really bother me, I double-tap the screen so the text area fills the screen, so much easier to read like that.

Double tap? Isn't that what Elvis used to do to his TVs?

My worry about the in-post advertising is it might give a little too much away about our browsing history

I must admit, to you, whether you like it or not, or care, which seems unlikely.

But I actually don't give a **** about the presence of adverts.

Yeah, but he had a gun licence. Sadly, a .177 or.22 air rifle doesn't have quite the same effect.
Give me a .357 Ruger Redhawk, however...
Or a .50 cal Desert Eagle.

Can't find the Andrex one

Reminds me of the Life of Christ depicted by cats.

Funny now, after the TV advert post obviously the site is running considerably slower. If I was the suspicious sort I could think that its all being orchestrated by STW to force people to subscribe.

The vast majority of adverts, whether on here or elsewhere usually put me off buying the product. In particular that window advert with that fanny who says 'you buy one you get one free'. I'd do without windows rather than use them.
Love the Aldi ones though.
