1part cement to 3parts sharpsand not to wet

Believe it or not you can buy it ready mixed in 5L tubs, from Wickes i think it's £10 a tub.

pointing mix is gauged at- 2 silver sand,1 grey building sand,1 quality cement..

I've just done mine using two 20kg bags of Cement-tone wide joint compound - just brush it in then leave it overnight. In the morning dry brush off any excess - job done! Dead easy!!

Special frost resistant brush in stuff. Sorry can't remember the name. Gel fix or something.
