Are there any good ones? I'm working my way through the original Broken Sword at the moment, and there's obviously SCUMMVM, but is there anything else out there?

What's Broken Sword like then? Fancy a game other than Angry Birds (Star Wars one's fune) on my Galaxy S3!

If you like point and click adventures it's bloody brilliant, one of my favourites (along with Beneath a Steel Sky and Indy: Fate of Atlantis).

They are gaming from the past though, if you like the instant gratification / ability to play for 30s and still have fun-ness of Angry Birds then you might not get into it.

I fancy something to play on for a bit longer. Angry Birds great for a pick up and play game but can't play it for too long as it gets a bit boring. I used to like the Monkey Island games so I'll give it a go - not like it's expensive either.

It's definitely that. It has a more "English" sense of humour than Monkey Island, bit darker in tone but really, really well written. There are a couple of infuriating puzzles, but that's par for the course!

I was playing Machinarium on the OH's iPad recently, and really enjoyed it. Not sure how well it'd scale on a phone though.

Finished Machinarium a year or so ago! Plus is wouldn't work on my phone... Should be good on a tab though I guess.
