The two expansion tanks in my airing cupboard - can I move them? Does the height differential matter?

As a rule, higher the better!

what sort of boiler/shower have you got?

Er, it's a hot water tank so not a combi, it seems to be mains pressure fed and the showers are just plain showers fed from hot water, no pumps. There are two expansion tanks, one red one white, the red one is fixed but I could move the white one down about a foot. I want to put some shelves in there 🙂

Down might affect shower pressure , can it be moved to the roof space ?

I think you mean expansion vessel's, in which case they should make no difference if moved,HTH.

Yeah expansion vessels. I didn't think it would hurt tbh. Thanks. Might need to add a little pressure to the air valve, perhaps...
