Looking to replace storage heaters and immersion with an electric boiler and rads/underfloor in a largish 3/4 bed terrace house.
Are the Redring Ascari boilers up to the job? Any alternatives?
Want to avoid the gas/oil/source pump options.
It'll be let out as an investment.

Thanks

Firstly if you have access to natural gas then go with that.
pence per kw one of the cheapest to run, and certainly pounds per kw cheapest to install of those that are cheaper.

If no natural gas go for oil, still way cheaper than electricity and significantly cheaper than LPG to run.

Electric will be expensive to run. Imagine how fast your meter runs when you have the kettle on then times it by 10 for one of those 12kW Redring boilers.

Oil will have a higher install cost but will save money in the long run. You say you're renting it out. If I was looking at a place to rent and it had electric heating I wouldn't bother.

And that's historic, The differentials are more pronounced now with electricity at 16p and gasoil back down to 7p (all prices and graph after efficiency losses)
