Please recommend me a softshell jacket.

Could do with a nice soft shell that I can wear under my Gortex coat (at work) and wear out when not working.

Dont mind spending on the right one.

I bought a cheap Bear Grylls one.... it's lovely.

Slightly thicker is my Scruffs one, thicker and warmer but not as soft textured.
