Set up my son's new phone yesterday using smart switch, easy peasy.
Trying to sort my daughter's today and the old phone doesn't support smart switch, so need to do it manually. Previously when I've got a new phone, I've just backed it all up to my Google account and re downloaded all the apps from the play store library. But on my daughter's phone the library is empty even though we've backed it all up.
I'm going freakin crazy as I can't seem to get it to sync up. Sooo old..
Anyone got any ideas, I really want my Sunday back?!?
Doesn't matter, she's going to manually download all her apps individually.
Not sure if it's something to do with family link but no idea why her apps aren't showing in the library....
Oh well.
If you want to transfer texts to the new phone the SMS Backup app does the trick. Newer phones they seem to transfer automatically.
