[Closed] Plastic grid as a shed base??

Getting a new 12x8ft shed/workshop/man cave and looking at a plastic grid system filled with 10mm gravel as a base instead of the usual concrete flag or concrete slab

https://www.ecodeck.biz/plastic-shed-bases/

Anyone used this or a similar system?? Pros or cons?

All looks good, easy to do, a bit pricey but will save a shirt load of time and effort lugging all the kit round to the rear of the house if I went flags, slab route.

Cheers
Carlos

I’ve bought one after a recommendation on another thread on here. Unfortunately I’ve been ill and not able to use it yet. It is sat in my shed. Looks well made and as you say seems simple.

Used it several times - on 2 x sheds at previous house then again on 16x10 summerhouse in current garden. Very easy to use, especially getting it level. Much easier than using 3x2s like I did in the past - can do the ecodeck singlehandedly which is great when you've got young kids like me. Seems to be lasting very well indeed. Highly recommended.

I got very lucky and was able to scrump some stuff very similar for our shed. It’s the stuff they put down to make ‘green’ car parks. My work did one and there were lots of off cuts.
Getting level was pretty easy and we have about 10cm sticking out around the shed which makes it easy to weed.
It’s really good and much easier than slabs etc

Nice one, good to hear.

Amazon have the ecodec stuff on cheaper than anywhere else I can find, so will look to order that👍

I used a 10x 8 ft plastic grid. Worked well, I used black cable ties to secure them together, the clips provided were never going to work. You snap them off like airfix. Getting the ground flat is the hardest part.
