only ever cycled round there. Are there any places to take the nipper for walk or even an easy bike ride...?

easy bike ride
cross dam at Yorkshire Bridge one short but steep hill to be careful on then to Bamford and back along the old Railway line - can't ever remember the name - at end dead quiet dead end road then across football field (take a ball! and picnic)or continueunder railway line and hot choc and cake and cafe at garden centre
ice cream at end if you park at Heather Dene
my little un's favourite ride

walking as pook says Padley Gorge lots for kids cafe at Station or picnic and paddling in the river at the top

or try carpark above Millstone Edge/Surprise view and up to the "Secret Garden" boulders
