going for a meal with the wife on sat eve in newcastle where is good to eat, for around 10-20 per head all types of food considered

Loads of places. I like Marco Polo on Gray street or the Turkish restaurant on the quayside. Gershwins is nice too but probably a bit too dear at those prices
