Time for the Friday night game of how long is 1 hr in the world of Pizza Delivery, last time it was 2hr15. If all goes to plan I have pizza at my door in 25mins. Winner gets a slice (collection only) current time is 18:55 and I've had beer so if this doesn't come then it's going to get messy.

I was only about 1 megametre out.

Might explain why your pizza delivery takes a while.

FFS won't some one think of the children, just make you own..

TBH we have a different dilema, the local chinese will say 30-45min and turn up 10minutes later, really annoying 😉

go to shop, 10 mins, cook it 15 mins . . .

I paid £18 for my last takeaway pizza and it was very average (Pizza Hut), i've had just as good from the supermarket.

Probably stands more chance of pizza delivery in Tassie than Canberra!

An unfortunate juxtaposition of phrases.

Don't you have a local Pizza Express? Way nice than Pizza Hut and the crusts aren't stuffed with dog turds either 😉

local curry house always says 20mins, never been less than 40 tho. Collecting speeds things up a bit but not much, they say 20mins, so you turn up on time but I'm sure they actually start cooking your food when you walk through the door.

good food tho

Invariably, asking any local takeaway here how long delivery will take results in a one word answer of "halfanhourfortyminutes". Actual delivery can be anywhere from ten minutes to two hours.

Then of course, you ring to chase after an hour and are told "he's just round the corner, mate."

More than one (I assume) ex-pat called Mike Smith who is into MTB and lives in Tassie?
A pretty good coincidence i'd say! 🙂

Now that I couldn't tell you. I shall endeavour to find out!
I do know he drives a mk5 Golf GTI and likes Peugeot 205 GTIs.

Of course, all this information is *completely* relevant 🙂

Well it's been a welcome distraction for me on a warm Friday afternoon - certainly beats work!

Ah, why get off your arse? 2 for 1 pizzas from Pizza Hut online too. It's brilliant:
Lean across sofa, pick up iPad.
Find website, order pizza(s) (2 for 1 remember)
Sit and watch telly.
10mins later, door bell goes "Leave it there mate. Cheers"
When ready ease buttocks from sofa, walk (I know, it's hard) to front door.
Now comes the difficult bit. bend over. Pick up pizza box(es).
Carry back to sofa.
Eat.
I love the 21st century.

Right - let's get to the bottom of this.

Mike: Do you sport much facial furniture?

(this is becoming more like a global game of Guess Who?)
