Be it a finely honed chunk of briar or a delicate streak of white clay, my prediction for 2013 is that pipes are going to make a comeback. Most likely they will be injection moulded from a suitably heat resistant compound that will allow custom coloured bowls and stems.
So would you tamp the shag and light up a pipe mid ride. Will the colours match your custom coloured liteville 601. Do pipes look better with or without beards. And yes I am a little distracted at work today!

Shimano will need to make SPD sandals for pipes to make a real come back.
