Hey, so after the 24 Hours of Exposure last weekend, I had bad pins n needles in my feet, among other aches and pains. Well the pins and needles in my feet haven't gone away yet and they aren't getting much better. Do I just have to wait until they go away, or is there anything I can do about it does anyone know?

Thanks!

Probably batter coccyx causing swelling to coccygeal nerves.

Off to the Docs you go.

First stop is obviously docs. Sounds similar to an injury I had. Non-freezing cold injury.

Get yourself a foot spa and begin using daily as often as you can. That'll promote circulation for starters.

The pins and needles will probably replace itself with a constant numb feeling. This is due to the capillaries in your feet having shrunk and being unable to get the necessary blood flow around your feet.

Get some warm winter socks & avoid exposing them to any cold. Get some warm footwear, that'll keep your feet insulated from the ground.

My numbness lasted for 7 months although that is a more extreme length of time.

The docs can have you forwarded to a specialist who will undertake an assessment of the extent of the damage by taking a thermal image of your feet before & after exposure to cold water, as well as doing a hot/cold feel test on you, similar to a hearing test.

Unfortunately, it's a bit permanent in the more extreme circumstances but by rapidly acting, you can reduce the damage.

My experience comes from actually having had an injury where the symptoms matched those described, I'm not a doctor so seek expert advice.

Cheers.

If it's your back or spinal cord that's causing it go to the docs,
if it's somewhere in your legs or indeed your brain that's causing it go to the docs,
GO TO THE DOCS.

It may be nothing, but you dont know that yet.

Any tiredness or lower back pain?

Any signs of a cold (particularly sore throat?)

Physiotherapist would be my call, rather than a General Practitioner.

No and no. Thought I was developing a cold last week (cough and runny nose etc), but managed to bypass it.

Any other symptoms?

Tingly feeling in my fingertips, not sure if its linked.

I'd definitely, definitely go to the doctors. Has it spread up over at all. I had Guillain Barré syndrome, started like that but much, much quicker.

I doubt that's what you have, but an expert needs to check it out.

I went to see someone about it and found out I have Plantar Fasciitis. Sounds more exciting than it it, I was told I need to come back for a foot scan and maybe get insoles for all my sports shoes.
