We will be in touch
Nearly time for the heating to go back on so this reminded me of something I thought about last year.
Our current combi boiler is controlled by a simple timer switch. The sort with lots of little switches in a circle that turns.
This is a bit rubbish as we want heat on at different times on different days depending on when we are in the house. We also don't have a thermostat anywhere in the house so just set the dial for the water temperature and when it comes on. We do have thermostat radiator valves on most radiators.
Is it possible to upgrade the controls? A digital 7 day timer would be good and something linked to a thermostat so we didn't have to guess the timings to keep the house at the right temperature.
Thanks,
Yes it is possible to upgrade the controller.
This will do the job nicely!
Just fitted one of these last week to our heating system, we had a basic thermostat in the hall and the timer switch with the little switches on the tank.
