I think he seems alright. Pretty genuine and down to earth. Like the way he puts the 'everyman' view and questions to his subjects.
Can't bear the way he seems to have been rehabilitated back into society, as a likeable rogue who used to be a bit of a wide boy. He actually used to be a nasty piece of work who has not asked for and does not deserve forgiveness.
He doesn't need to try anything at all. Quite possibly the most self-satisfied, smug, vile individual in the meedja. He was sacked as editor of The Scum, I believe, so how he's managed to get where he is is utterly beyond me. I'm rather glad I'm unlikely to ever find myself in the same place as him, as I would be unable to resist the urge to punch him hard in the face, which would probably hurt my hand. Worth it, though.
IMO, he's without doubt the most slimey **** * on TV ever.

I believe clarkson did punch him once. He is a pretty unpleasant person. When he was a tabloid editor he used his journalists to wage personal vendettas against people.
Clarkson siad his young daughter had a harder punch than PM, and he threw a jug of water over him as well on the final flight of concorde i seem to remember.

He ran faked pictures of iraqi prisoners being abused by britsh soldiers. He didn't create them but he failed to make sure they were genuine. That's what ended his career as an editor

Clarkson had a go at him because PM published photos of him kissing someone who was not his wife. In a fight between Morgan and Clarkson I'd like to see both lose.
PM wasn't so very wrong on the dodgy dossier and the bogus reasons for going into Iraq (and his brother was serving out there at the time). For brief time the Mirror was actually a paper with a conscience.
He is slimey - but he does seem to realise it.

I kinda like Piers Morgan. Not sure why, I suppose it might be 'cause he's got a pleasant face and likeable manner. The sort of guy you'd want to have a drink and a chat with.
I was gutted when he was sacked from the Mirror - pretty unfair I thought. Still, I guess that has allowed him to spend more time being a TV personality - something which he undoubtedly has a talent for.
