My commute along the A69 from Newcastle to Carlisle was a little chilly last year ...
I have one from a couple of days later that shows -15.5C
One year ago we had rats and I still hadn't shaved off my Movember 'tache. But at least I didn't have the hangover I've got a year later 🙁

I know. There I was equipped with what must be the ultimate bike. (I've read all the stuff on STW about how the 29er wheels I use aren't as good as 26" wheels, so I figured if smaller was better, then 20" wheels would be the ducks nuts.)

It is an adult female. As with all mature male spiders they will have palpal emboli (they look a bit like boxing gloves). A mature male Psalmopoeus will also have tibial hooks, which would probably be seen in that photo. 🙂
