I seem to remember KMX did some fun looking rough and tumber recumbant trikes but not sure about road stuff.
What are you thinking of using it four?
Not mine but vid here of 500w rear hub motor suspended low racer motoring around Netherlands is good.
I find on the flat I am leaving behind upright ebikes without much effort on the analog recumbents.
There is someone auctioning one at the moment for not much, a nazca explorer.
Probably one of the easiest ways would be to find a Cruzbike or similar front wheel drive recumbent and then find a front hub motor for the rear (if that makes sense).
The thing I like about the MBB (Moving Bottom Bracket) recumbent configuration is that it's essentially a normal bike with the bits moved around.
