Just an old monocular microscope that I got for Xmas when I was 12! (nearly 17yrs ago)

Dslr on a tripod looking down the eyepiece, could be better quality if I had an adapter but it gives reasonable results.

I'm going to offer some cycling ones, taken today at the Zolder World cup cyclocross. It's fair to say the conditions were gopping (technical term) and it was really dark, I struggled to get anything like a decent shutter speed whilst keeping the ISO at something sensible, I was at f2.8 most of the time so lots of shots out of focus.

Funny things you see on the trails... Over the last 6 or so years I've been riding past this and taking a peek at it as I fly past, but today as I rode past it seems to have grown somewhat. Just got a Nikon FM2n, only have one lens with a manual aperture ring, a 35mm f2.
Love the simplicity of it, really easy to use.

Just looking at the map, we changed our plan because of the rain but i think it is at 317 092 on the southeast lakes OS map near the footpath, fairly easy to get to from Grasmere. Just behind the picture is another large boulder. Didn't have much time when i was there so I'd be interested to see what you come up with! It reminded me of the famous rowan tree of glencoe. Looks like it takes some battering in the wind!

I just looked at this on flickr, there is a real deterioration in the tones and definition when you link pictures to STW. Click the picture to see the difference.
Anyone know why this is?
