Hello, does anyone on here have experience in repairing HTC phones? Or know of a(nother) good forum for advice?
I smashed the digitiser and S-LCD on my Desire a few weeks ago. The replacements arrived yesterday, and fitting them today seemed to go fine, until I turned the phone on...! The LCD works, but the new digitiser doesn't seem to do anything. I can call the phone and the vibrate, speaker, and antenna work fine. So not sure if a) phone is goosed; b) digitiser is goosed; c) installation error.
Is there any way that the digitiser can ground out somewhere and stop it working?
