Cheers tracker link should now work.

I was only really expecting two things in the future when I was kid

1. Flat TV's...Those have been sorted to my satisfaction

2. Flying cars.... A work in progress.

righog, computers that you can talk to were on my list as well, and now my phone and any computer that can run Chrome can pretty much do it, or a watch, or a pair of bloody glasses! I think I am going to live past the future that I imagined as a kid, which almost makes me immortal, doesn't it?

Cougar, saw that hover board the other day, I wondered how much resistance to motion you could programme in. Lots if I was ever going to get on and not break myself badly, now a hover bike...

Back in the 80s my dad was involved in putting some of the first computers into schools in Manchester. He went along to one of the first lessons in a school's new computer lab. The teacher sat a girl down in front of the computer keyboard and said 'put your name into the computer Alice'

"my name's Alice"
"My. Name. Is. Alice"
"MY NAME IS ALICE"
"ALICE!"
"ALICE!"
"ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!"

We've been able to talk to computers all along. They've just not been very good at listening.
