No power, phone connection, heat, wifi (first world problems I know) since 22:00 last night. Lots of trees on roads, two down in my garden and loads of deep, localised flooding. Power just back on which is relief but forecast of more crap weather later. Much worse that recent "big storm".
However, with no distractions, all veg done (brownie points stored 😉 ) drinks ready, only pressies to be wrapped during Kings College service in a bit. Just hope we do not have a repeat of the power cuts tonight. That would be a pain. Fingers crossed.
Lots of Xmas spirit with people helping neighbours and motorists being relaxed despite the flood and tree hold ups!! Very nice to see such spirit this morning.
