Does anyone know where Ican get a machine for personalising pencils with names etc for the kids?
lots of cash for a limited use, go to a local engravers or sign makers and ask there.
We used to shave a small flat with a pen knife then write on it. That was a few years ago, and technology has moved on. How about a label printer?

know a man who individually puts names on pencils for schools stops them arguing who stole whos pencils
its a warzone from what i hear with kids gnawing names off pencils so theres no evidence your honour
*edit*another thought you can buy letter stamps for stamping metal for about 10 quid
