I'd like to nominate the bloke I see on my daily commute, sat on the steps near our office, who's daily breakfast seems to consist of a can of Special Brew.
Any man who can neck a pint of that at 8 in the morning, as a bit of a livener, surely doesn't have to prove his manhood in any other way?
Your nominations please
Nick Gr... only joking!
druidh......
(JOKE! You'd need to have seen that thread, I suppose! 😉 )
Remember Vic and Bob 'time for our mornin wine'
Simon Cowell.
Someone with that hairstyle and bigger moobs than Christoper Biggins to be able amass such a fortune, clever chap.
Heinz Guderian.
The French
Rudeboy
People you have a mis-placed admiration for? Though you probably shouldn't
binners. I shouldn't but no one can carry off a corset like him (wipes tear from eye)
I wouldn't consider respect for Guderian misplaced. Hitler on the other hand.....
hora.
well, someone was bound to mention him...

There is an online resource dedicated to Iron Cross and Knights Cross winners. Its quite sad to read. It actually makes you realise how pathetic and sad war really is. People trading their lives for pathetic bits of costume jewellery 🙁

NOT THE F WORD!
Che Guevara?
I admire where Sarkozy puts his fingers
hora - MemberI admire where Sarkozy puts his fingers
PMSL
I admire(d) Boris Yeltsin - pi44ed and running a super-power! Whoo! Hoo!
Anybody who absolutely genuinely doesn't give a f#¤k about what people think of them.
Preferably not using this psychotic skill to become a mass murderer though, I was thinking of those who will do, say, wear, drink, eat whatever they want, whenever they want 🙂
The Hoff
tankslapper didnt he get royally blathered then wander out of the whitehouse off somewhere? The CIA/Russian bodyguards were going spare trying to find him!
I admire binners. He loves his kids 🙂
You're mixing up 'admire' with 'fancy' Hora
Michael Howard - he used to be totally in favour of the death penalty until the Guildford 4 were found not guilty when he realised that they would have been hung despite being innocent.
He publicly changed his mind on capital punishment after that,
I hate him as a right wing Tory but have to respect his integrity over that issue
Yes, yes TJ.... but did he interfere in the day to day running of the prison service? answer the question.
Surely we should admire him for provding that greatest of televisual moments 🙂

Spins towel into a tight-knot and whips binners bare ass in the showers
that politician (yes, I know no politician should be admired), limp biscuit who keeps getting off with lookers. Nice job, well done.
samuri, if you mean lemsip toothpick then i don't think that "getting off" with one of the cheeky girls is anything to be admired... or indeed that weather woman who looks like a thunderbird puppet.
Xherbivorex, he's still punching above his weight though, isn't he? 🙂
lembit's face looks like an ardmann animation and he is a liberal democrat though xherbivorex, all things are relative.
fair points from you both!
You have to take your hat off to Berlisconi. The mans a genius.
How about this for a gambit
1. Take control of 90% of the countries media
2. Pass a law allowing state funding of political parties
3. Call an election
4. Spend X squillion euros of taxpayers money on 'vote for me' advertising on your own media
5. Sit back as the opposition parties match your spend on advertising (on the media you own)
6. As an after-thought change the law to make yourself immune from prosecution for corruption
7. Return to your huge mansion to count your new money. With a room full of gorgeous hookers, and coke and stuff
8. Laugh like the Bond villain you look like
That Libyan medal is a bit naff isn't it. My kids have made better medals at playgroup.
Berlusconi. Agree totally, however I still vote for Sarkozys fingers. Carla Bruni- If I was her fella...I wouldnt allow her to leave the house without a burka ironically...
Bluetone, see picolax thread for details.
Anyone who can write that is genious!
The Duchess of York.
Now I don't like Man Utd and generally don't think much of assotiation footballists, but...
Eric Cantona
He was different, I bet Fergie has a picture of him above his bed.
Anbd while we're on the subject, Alex Ferguson...
Michael Howard - he used to be totally in favour of the death penalty until the Guildford 4 were found not guilty when he realised that they would have been hung despite being innocent. He publicly changed his mind on capital punishment after that,
I think changing your mind is one of the most interesting things someone can do, you don't need to think to have an opinion, but to have changed your opinion shows thought, or understood, or witnessed (perhaps). But I would only say Michael Howard could be admired for his cameo in Dawn Penn's version of 'You Don't Love Me (No No No)'
Gadaffi- why is he only 'Colonel'- is this the rank he reached before he took power/overthrew the government? If I was a mad Dictator with a bevvy of female bodyguards I'd have promoted myself to the Supreme Overlord Major Major General of Land, sea and North African Empire.
He looks like he coated himself in glue then fell into a wedding shop in Bradford 😆
.........or a furniture shop in Heckmonwike..
William Shatner.
Quel hero.
mike_p : Alex Ferguson?
He is a red faced, miserable, masticating berstard.
Mumbling jock**** gets right on my testicle hairs.
Ted bundy. No messing about. Has his cake and eats it then eats it again a bit later when its gone stale.
Dani Pedrosa - I could never stand him but he's shown a bit of humility recently and my opinion has changed
Dermot O'leary's square head - I find quite a bit of admiration for that
Michael Shumacher..****ing hate him..although I really admire him for not coming back into F1 this season.
Boris Johnson
of course the buffoon act is just that and he's a wily rabid tory 🙁
I was about to say "Nobody's said Bojo". Curses.
I like Bojo, he's another one who admits his mistakes and changes of mind- I got one of his books of collected articles and he made a point of reprinting old articles which he's now been proved wrong on, rather than just airbrushing them out. He's also quite open that he's not a natural tory at all, they just happen to be the closest thing going to his own beliefs that have a chance of election. And of course he's good comic value.
Michael Shumacher- I will never admire or respect him.
Can we have a thread, people you'd do but shouldnt?
I nominate Bjork.
Ron Jeremy?
Ron Jeremy? GENIUS post. Ironic and soo true 8)
Ugly and paid to sleep with beautiful women.
