Does anyone have experience of PEGA? a role has come up in my area, using PEGA (full certification training included) and I'm interested, it looks interesting.

any views? I'm currently working with a bunch of dinosaurs in a functional design team, designs are written in word, with an occasional activity diagram thrown in, it's so archaic it's stupid.

obviously, the interest in this thread has been overwhelming, so I thought I'd let you all know that I am going for the job.

I work in a similar area. It is indeed interesting, yes, but expect a hard sell everywhere you go. PEGA afaik is quite proprietary, you use it to make your systems the way they want systems to be made, rather than integrating a concept into your applications the way you want it, like other BRMS.

I'm a BA on a project which is using PEGA PRPC

I'm not a developer, and my involvement with the system itself is minimal, but here's my 2 cents

- PEGA do a good job of selling their platform. I'm not sure the reality quite matches the pitch
- if you are getting the certification as part of the job then this is a good thing. I understand demand is high for certified PEGA developers

damn, I wanted that prize.

I'll be working more as a design analyst (if I get the role), but I understand that traditional roles can become quite blurred, so I will be doing a degree of developing too.

cheers all for your input.
