I've had some excellent food at the Horseshoe Inn up the road (5 mins) in Eddlestone.
£20 for 2 courses Sunday lunch - you'll need to book.

The Green Tree does reasonable home cooked tucker, and they keep their rubbish scottish beer well 😉

Tontine is very good, breakfasts there are superb and the bottled beers in the bar are nice too.
They do good evening restaurant food too.
