Anyone know a free easy PDF creator/converter? I'm using windows XP.

Can't vouch for the one above but have used a couple of freebies in the past - forgotten their names - but they leave watermarks or are fairly clunky.

Have used Nitro PDF which is good, but you need a fair amount of horsepower to run it smoothly. And it costs a few quid.

The in-build one in Open Office works a treat for me.

The in-build one in MS Office 2007 works a treat for me. 😛

Just a quick update cute PDF whilst quite quick shrunk my document so all the text was there but instead of being a full page was two thirds yet still in proportion. Uplinks link was alot slower but did the same job as acrobat would.

Primo is a nice and easy converter. It has a better viewer than Adobe, too.

i use [url= http://www.primopdf.com/ ]PrimoPDF[/url] It is very simple to use, it just prints to a PDF file, so you can print from any prigram 🙂

have you checked the output settings in CutePDF? I've never come across what you've got there, having outputted from all sorts of progs!

I use PrimoPDF at work and CutePDF at home... no noticeable difference really!
