Have a problem with this laptop and the main Pc that seems to be Norton based. Been though the Norton help etc and reach a dead end where I appear to need to understand computer speak!
Yes I know there is a dislike of Norton here but I am stuck with it and it does do the job on the whole which MSE failed to do.
Problem 1. Certain PDFs won't open. Both lap top and computer says that a virus was detected and it was deleted. (THe email is still in my inbox so I can repeat this for ever) I am damn sure that there is no virus, its my latest payslip that it doesn't like and its never happened before.
Problem 2. Main pc only. Wife has, for years, logged on to here work system . Now the machine is giving the same message as above.
I think that either windows or Norton is being too fussy . This is, to my knowledge, something that I have not set.
As Norton suggest we go into Settings then Anti virus but at this point nothing recognisable comes up. All we can see is a list of "things" in computer speak
Any suggestions? Printable please.
