I use Adobe Acrobat and also another pdf programme pdfsam.

Something has happened this morning, probably me pressing a key when I should not have.

Anyway, the pdfsam propramme appears to have become the default, and now all pdf files are pdfsam files.

I don't actually want this.

How do I get back to Adobe being the default pdf programme?

Windows 10?

Right click a pdf file, choose "open with", select Adobe and tick always use this app to open pdf files.

Thanks Kelron.

I could not initially see the 'always use this app' box to tick, but a bit further digging, I went:

> right click
> properties

Found it in there.

Thanks. Back to where I want to be.

Personally I'd have recommended formatting the hard disk and re-installing Windows. This place is slipping.

Surprised we haven't got into an argument about which flavour of Linux to replace Windows with yet. Obviously, buying a fully tricked out iPad Pro is the simple answer.
