Hi, just wondering what the etiquette is for paying for something via Paypal and covering the fees. Surely if you just add the fees onto the asking price the person will still get less than the asking price as the fees will increase as they are based as a percentage of the money paid? Am I over thinking this?
Also, what is the best way to work out the fees due on an item?

Seller, ask for the amount you want to receive, buyer pay that amount.

Why?
You don't say "plus postage" do you? You, the seller decide what you want, add the postage, PP and anything else and tell that to the buyer. End of story.
