Just checked my paypal account thinking it had £ 20 in there from a couple of little sales on the classifieds. Balance showing as 0 but I haven't spent that £ 20. Do payments return to the sender after a period of time if you don't claim the money ? I can't see any record of the two transactions both for £10 either in or out of my account.

Nope. Check your account history.

Are you sure you were paid for the goods you sold and actually saw the money in your account??

I have it's bizarre. It only shows the 2 payments I made on the account last month but not the recent payments I recieved. Nothing there at all.

It's the right account? Like you haven't set up two and they're in the wrong one? I thought the notifications always got sent to the same email address as the account is listed under?

You can add additional email addresses to your account, incase you got the money sent to a different one - is that it?

You can have multiple e-mail addresses registered on one account. But I suppose that you could also have multiple accounts? Is your work e-mail address registered with the account that you are looking? Have you tried to look for an account with your work address?

Check the dispute centre. They may have reversed the transactions.
