My balcony directly overlooks a canal anything I wash it with will drip into the water. Any enviromentally friendly solutions? I have no were to connect a jet wash. Is elbow grease the only answer? Thanks Dave

I tend to wash down our decking with a bucket of hot soapy water and a stiff brush, but I guess it depends on how grimy your slabs are. How about some of the eco products in the supermarket, or a dilute solution of citric acid degreaser?
