I got a parking ticket in early Sept that I appealed. Edinburgh Council acknowledged by appeal and said they would issue a decision within 28 working days. That time has now well and truly passed with no further contact from CEC. I've checked junk email and nothing there. Any thoughts on next steps? I'm not inclined to chase them up but can it be assumed that ticket is cancelled if they don't process an appeal?
I've got one in Manchester I'm challenging. I can log into the system and see the status of the ticket on line.
It currently says 'on hold'.
Send them a letter, recorded delivery that says "According to the law as interpreted by me, the owner of the Skoda Superb Estate in question, too much time has lapsed, I'm off scot free, get it up ye, no take backsies"
