We are driving from Sheffield on Thursday for a concert at the Etihad. Setting off at approximately 4pm.
We would like to "park and ride" - looking at Ashton Moss as an option, any better solutions? Concert finishes `at approx 11pm

Park in national cycle centre across the road £5 last time I used it , little jog after concert turn right and cut through estate and you'll be away...
My wife is pregnant so the little jog may not happen lol - is the "estate" safe?
We parked at Glossop station and got the train to Ashburys station which is a 10 minute walk from Etihad.
There is tonnes of parking at the stadium itself, I'd just park there.
Free retail car park at the moment opposite Ashton under lyne tram station. Post code is OL6 6DJ and is right next to IKEA
20 odd mins direct by tram to the etihad.
If it finishes at 11pm you need to check the last tram times, they finish around then so you could be stuck needing a taxi, given your wife is pregnant I would park at the Etihad or the velodrome next door
12:46 is the last one, given how they try and manage getting to the Etihad from the city it should be OK to go further away but there is a lot of parking a very short walk from the stadium.
Velodrome is payparking? Victory to me as never paid.
