Off to Panama with the OH for a couple of weeks' holiday in November. Beyond spending 2 days in Panama City, and heading out to somewhere in the San Blas islands, I have no idea where to start, really, so looking for recommendations, guidance and suchlike.
For reference, last year we pottered around Costa Rica, renting a car and driving from San Jose to Arenal, with a couple of days of jungle action, followed by a couple of days on the beach. Is Panama broadly the same, better? How're the roads?
