Do you charge a day rate?
Or price per room?
Or just a job lot..
If a day rate, what should I be looking at..
I need the hall/ strairs & downstairs rooms painting.

Where are you? Will have an effect on rates.
I'm a carpenter and would either do a priced job or a day rate, what ever the customer wants, it's your choice!

We're near St Andrews in Fife, which seems to warrant a premium. Established tradesmen are minimum £250/day, £200/day for the youngsters just starting out.
