Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney faces four weeks on the sidelines after suffering a gash on his right leg during United's 3-2 win over Fulham on Saturday.
"Wayne Rooney's been whisked off to hospital immediately and it looks a bad one,"
For a moment I though it was the Daily Mash but no it's actually on the BBC.
As a football fan I hang my head in shame as to how soft it is.
(i'm sure it is really a nasty nasty gash and very serious)

now compare that to injuries that occur in UCI pro and grand tour races, where riders will continue to race hard for days and you see how much of bunch of overpaid ladies gardens rooney/footballers are
