I had one for work a few years back. Lasted 2 days, apparently they weren't waterproof 😛

That reminds me I've got one of the Swatch The Beep watches kicking around somewhere, I wonder if it still works and receives messages?

I still carry one of these for work in case one of the servers falls over. Ancient piece of kit but it works.

I can remember teaching one to swim in a pint of bitter whilst pub crawling West Street. Long time ago - I worked at Midland Bank.

Used to have one at work until..

Pulled my strides down for a tom tit and the pager came unclipped from my jeans pocket straight down the bog

Didn't fancy fishing it out from the works bog so flushed it away

Told the guvnor I had lost it and he suggested trying the number to see if I could hear it

Probably sailed straight out into the Thames and ended up who knows where
