...in local WH Smiths, the manager (Lorraine) talking with two younger assistants. The youngsters were talking about nicknames, and one turned to the manager asking,
"Lorraine, why do people call you Quiche?"
I guess it's a generation thing!!!! At least the manager and I were able to have a smile.

In my local cafe there was a bit of a gathering of pensioners, one was extolling the virtues of the cruise holiday he was going on and how he can have all the food and drink he wants, all inclusive.
"will there be sex too?" one of the old ladies asks
"sex? he cannae even spell it" another answers
