Klopp signs on until 2026, always thought he'd have done that 2024 finish and left management for a while, or forever. I guess he may well be there until he calls it a day!

I think Pep might extend his deal as well, I thought for sure he would leave at the end of his current deal when he signed it. But they both seam to be enjoying the challenge and the quality of football both teams are producing is incredible.
The worry then can become how big the fall off is when such influential managers who are at the centre of everything the respective clubs do actually do leave.
Yeah, but i think it kind of shows more of the importance of a strong structure, top to bottom, as both of them have the best setups in the EPL, and probably Europe.
You look at Liverpool and it seems to be a well oiled machine, they don't mess about with signings, they have so much going on behind the scenes, but without much of a peep, same with City, there's rarely long, drawn out transfer saga's, or contract disputes that get the media going, even Salah with his extension isn't really making much news, as everyone seems calm about it. It just takes away a lot of the drama from the managers, i bet ten Hag wishes ManU will be a bit like that!

Well if he’s watching this semi-comatose shite then he’ll be under no illusions about the task he’s taken on.
As usual, if it wasn’t for Dave - the only player in a United shirt to bother to turn up again - we’d be at least 2 down by half time
It’s absolutely ****ing woeful! Contrast this with what we’ve watched over the last couple of nights….
Like Keano just said; it’s like watching a championship or division one side in the FA Cup
I don't think anyone saw the Burnley revival coming when they sacked Dyche. Maybe we should have, it has happened a few times before when a well drilled team is given greater freedom they start to do better, although often they slip even further in the long term. They now have a great chance of beating the drop this year at least.

No, but they’re looking good now, and it’s Everton for a richly deserved drops into obscurity.
Leeds will be relegated, not Everton. They've got some very tough games ahead and I can't see them getting many more points.
Leeds really are a ****ing horrible club! What’s going on with chucking shit on to the pitch?
Seems like they’ve reverted to type now Bielsa has gone. Assaulting people. I’m amazed they’ve still got 11 players on the pitch
I’d be delighted to see them go down again and hopefully they’ll not darken the top tier for another 16 years
Leeds really are a ****ing horrible club!
not much has changed, was involved in a photo shoot @ Leeds Utd back in the early 2000's when under O'leary a more unpleasant set of ****s you are unlikely to meet. (to add perspective we also went to most top clubs at the time and in general they were really nice though Chelsea were a bit "odd")
I’d be delighted to see them go down
It's just a matter of time - 4 games in fact!
I'll correct my statement above. I can't see them getting any more points.
A bit squeaky bum time for Liverpool fans. No idea how some of the Villarreal players are still alive though, such is the brutal treatment they're receiving.
I reckon Liverpool are in trouble here. Always felt 2-0 was only just ok…if there wasn’t an early goal.
That's a bizarre half from Liverpool, so so many misplaced passes.
Coquelin is such a diver. He's not even very good at it
Klopp's had it easy these past few weeks, he'll be earning his money right now.
I can't see them being that bad in the second half. 4-2 Liverpool on aggregate
UTCIAD ! We are Premier League!
Should be a lovely second half
Not the best game to produce your worst performance of the season!
Confused. Where we're this team at 8pm ?
And what happened to the yellow players?
A game of two halves?
Couldn't be more different could it.
Their keeper has totally lost it!! 😳
I think Villarreal dropping off was deliberate - hoped to get a breather then score late. Their goalie hasn’t helped!
what an odd game of football 😂
Looks like Villarreal got a half time team talk from Laural and Hardy.
Yeah, Liverpool definitely in trouble here… 😳
I think there's an odd psychology to a 2 goal lead. When you're one up you know you have to concentrate hard to preserve it.
2-up; if you concede a goal not only are you only 1-up, but you've already just shown you can concede.
3-up; not only the same as 2-up but with added 'we can't **** this.....can we?'
Never mind Salah (who I hope is just a bit knackered/out of form) - get Luis Diaz a longer contract!
Half time Tonight, the most excited that man Utd fans have been all season!
It did feel like that at half time Villarreal could only get worse and Liverpool could only get better
Imagine going to game and deciding to whistle incessantly whenever the opposition has the ball.
Pretty dull fare thus far. How Casemiro hasn't got booked yet is anyone's guess.
Militao is a great big wuss too.
Yeah not much of a game yet. I'm hoping for more soon
your wish......
Excellent Grealish is on, he'll show these upstarts how to fall over in agony.
squeaky bum time
it's that panicky 2 goal lead again!
Jeez!! 2 goals in a minute….
Unbelievable Jeff! Madrid’s name is on the cup isn’t it? Comeback after comeback!
Lol shall I ask for some lottery numbers too?
Oh dear
6-5 is kid's football scores
of course I want the British teams to go through, but if they can't, another City bottle job in the big games is never not funny.
Some very odd decision making from this ref.
No idea how they’ve messed this up. Implications for the league?
