I was looking for some new work trousers with 34" inside leg but the max inside leg I could find was 33". I got bored quickly looking for 34" inside leg.

Can anyone recommend a website for some smart office trousers for people with quite long legs?

You could just sew an extra bit of cloth on the bottom of some shorter ones. As long as the colour sort of matches no-one will notice. Not like people look at your ankles much, is it? Especially if you're tall, they'll be looking up. ๐Ÿ˜†

- 'cos I hate trousers that are too short for me. I want trousers that fit correctly. I know, I'm just weird like that.

Tried M&S? I've brought Mr TW trousers in 34/34 there before.

I think a long at Next is 34". I'm a 30L there anyway and their chino's do me for work. (I'm 6'3)

Next do a 'smart chino' (oxymoron, but YKWIM) in various 'not beige' colours.

Even red for that LAMFRT look.

- for casual trousers or jeans that's usually true. For smart trousers it's surprisingly different. I don't know why unless retailers think people who wear jeans don't need to wear more formal trousers to the office

If youre that fussed about them fitting you may consider trying a pair on before purchase.

Uniqlo do everything in 34", so it can be altered to fit later.

Ha, no I meant why did orangespyderman bother posting that nonsense. Wasn't useful, clever, or funny. Just pointless*.

* I'm aware that nearly everything on here is pointless, but that was worse than usual.

Surely you just buy long trousers and get your tailor to take them up as required? Or if you're posh get your butler to take them to your tailor to take them up.

Really? I need 35 or 36 so even harder.

Long at M&S used to be 33, extra long 35.

Spoke do smart chinos in long lengths.

Happy to help. ๐Ÿ™‚

Blimey, they've actually got cheaper since I bought mine. Will have to pop back into Asda.

34/34 is a fairly common size dude. I've been that since as long as I can recall buying trousers/jeans etc.

M&S and Next both do 'long' leg (34/34") trousers. I'm wearing a pair of M&S finest chino things in natty dark blue now...

I know 34" inside leg is nothing new or not even that long BUT 34" inside leg seems to not be the standard nowadays for smart office trousers hence the frustration - e.g. not chinos, jeans, cords or casual trousers

e.g. for suit style/formal trousers
M&S size chart S:29", M: 31", L:33"
Next size chart S:29", M: 31", L:33", XL:35"
Many other are similar

Have you tried the M&S L:33" on? I take a 34" inside leg in jeans etc but the 33" M&S trousers seem to fit me fine. No-one has laughed anyway.
